I love bears! Heather probably guessed this ( )))) ) and gave me a whole set of embroidery with teddy bear from Margaret Sherry! He's so sweet and cute! But that's not all gifts. Heather are also sent me a canvas, buttons, beads, needles!

Dear Heather, thank you so much for the great joy, for the holiday in the heart, for the beautiful gorgeous gifts!!! I really, really enjoyed it!!!))
Dear Nia, thank you so much for such a wonderful exchange!!!))
THANK YOU!!!
Better Late Than Unfinished... - SAL#3
Hi gorgeous ladies!!
I've been away for a loooong time... :(
I've seen so many updates on SAL#4 which I don't participate...
Well, I'm still struggling to finish my SAL#3.
Work, family, chores, etc got in the way; but I'm back!
Let me celebrate my cat #3 from Cool Cats, the Autumn Cat.
Now I have 3 of them...
Once I started, I can't stop!
This will be my last cat, the Winter Cat...
Wish me luck!

August update!
Hello ladies!!
Sorry for the lack of updates during this month.. August has been a time for vacation :) I just finished replying all emails, sorry for the delay!! =)
New authors
We have a couple new members on the group, I will leave them the chance to post here and introduce themselves ;) A few stitchers also asked to join our exchanges but I had to say 'No' when it's someone who has no blog =/ We need to know something about the people who join, the least we can do is accept stitchers who have their own blog and often post. It's the minimum guarantee we can ask =/ It's sad to say 'No' to a stitcher but we had trouble before.. I hope everyone understands.
Blogversary Exchange
We are at the same point we were one month ago...
Lentochka, Cucki and Simone are still waiting to receive their parcels =/
I know mail from Lentochka takes a while to arrive (we saw it on the previous exchange) so next time we need to be more careful here. Maybe Lentochka could post earlier than the others, trying to make up for the delay on the mail service delivery from Russia.
Simone also has some trouble getting mail in Brazil, so that doesn't surprise me much either.. it's sad but let's give it a little more time, patience.
What about the parcel from Heather to Lentochka?! More trouble on mail to Russia..? we can only wait..
In all cases it's possible that this delay is all on the mail service =( Hope to have some news in the next couple of weeks!!
Halloween Exchange
Next exchange is coming soon!! Halloween theme!
We have only 7 stitchers so far, anyone else would like to join?
More details here on this page!
I have a suggestion for this exchange, about the design to stitch. Since there aren't many Margaret Sherry's designs for halloween, would you like to leave it a free stitching? You could make any design for any handmade piece you'd like, the halloween theme would be on the extra gifts in the parcel. What do you think? Does everyone agree?

SAL# 4
Hello Ladies, I came to show my last puppy. This was very quick and the embroidery looks just like my dog when he does something stupid.
How are yours?

news to share and a gift received :)
Hello ladies!! How is everyone doing?
Many people on vacation this month? :) I'll be soon, working just until the end of this week :D
If you are a follower on my personal blog, you already now how my past few weeks have been ;) If not, let me share the news: I'm pregnant! :D Early pregnancy yet, which has given me a change of rhythm that I'm still adapting :p and that's not the only reason I haven't been around so much, I was also very busy unwrapping packages with lots of bday gifts :D heheh It was my birthday on July 27th :)
A couple of weeks ago, I've also received a surprise package :) Gislene, from Brazil, sent me sweet treats saying how happy she was with all her Pixie gifts!

Since her partner failed on the last winter exchange, some friends on the group gathered to send her Pixie parcels. I know it's not the same as receiving our exchange in time but I also think it's a wonderful joy to see friends gathering just for friendship, nothing in return :) So thank you, thanks to everyone who has send a Pixie parcel (not only to Gislene but in all our previous exchanges), thank you all for your kindness and friendship :)
You ladies are the best!!

All the Way from Australia!!
Thank you so much Leonie - Noni for the great Blogaversary exchange gifts! I love everything so much and already added the scissor fobs to my scissors and to the new cute scissors you sent me as well! They are both so very cute and the little fairy is very dainty that you made. Your creation of the box with the your excellent stitching of the sheep is just gorgeous and will be a keepsake forever. I haven't decided what to use it for, but it will definitley be stitching items!!! :) There are so many!! I was thinking possibly a box to hold threads and such for a project as I work on it, instead of a zip loc baggie!! Will be much more fun and quite professional!! lol
I will for sure be using the threads and ribbon you sent as they are always part of my stitching in finishing an item. I have put the Australia pin on my summer cap and already people have noticed it and wanted to touch it since it came from so far away! lol And I let them too!! It made them smile as well as me. I haven't started the Oregano kit yet, but I have it in my stitching to do soon.
Thank you so much Noni for your great package and all your time in making me such a special box!! I hope to be able to exchange to you one day so that I may return some wonderful smiles to you too!! :) Anne

SAL # 4 Puppy Love - (Almost!) Complete
We're nearing the end of July so I thought I'd check in and show everyone how my Puppy Love SAL is progressing. I'm pleased to say that I've finished stitching all the puppies I'm going to use in my design:
Next step, I need to stretch the linen and mount it for framing. I found a cute 4 X 10 inch frame on sale over a year ago, and it's been waiting for my Puppy Love every since. So, don't count me as "finished" yet. I still want to get the piece in it's frame and post one more photo of the fully completed project - hopefully sometime in the next couple months!

From Netherlands to Brazil!
Hi girls!
I am very happy to participate in another exchange with you! And even happier because it seems that this time it is going to work very well! It'almost 100% Nia! ;-)
I received a lovelly package from Olli!

It was sweet and generous! I loved every little gift, especially the bag with a perfect cross stitch embroidery and the wool, besides candies, of course! ;-) And I already have plans for the wool!

I participate in a project called "Bonequeiras Sem Fronteiras" inspired by Dolly Donations. We sew dolls especially for orphaned children and old ladies throughout Brazil. We try to send them a little bit of love and confort. So this lovelly wool will turn on nice hair for some dolls, and maybe some gloves to warm hands of old ladies! Visit our blog! http://bonequeirasemfronteiras.blogspot.com.br/
Thank you very, very much Olli!

Blogaversary Exchange - From Malaysia to Australia
Hi there!
Gosh, haven't we had a wonderful exchange this time round. We have seen some absolutely gorgeous packages going around the world and arriving at their destinations in record time :o)
And now I am here to show you what I received last week from Fara in Malaysia.
Isn't this the cutest Hedgehog? I love the ballerina hedgehog design and Fara has done a lovely job of turning this little cutie into a pretty pink bag. Perfect for storing ribbons or threads in and for showing off in the craft room! :o)
Also in the pretty pink box Fara sent some lovely purple butterflies, cute animals pegs, metallic tape, a pretty pink tin and a chocolate notepad, as well as some pink pot pourri and a lovely souvenir from Malaysia. Now I just have to go there one day and see the tallest towers for myself!
Thank you Fara for a lovely package that you sent me for this exchange. I absolutely love it all.
And a big thank you to Nia for organising this great exchange, and thank you to everyone for making it a great success... Hopefully the last of the packages will arrive at their destinations soon and we will have 100% sent and received!!
Til next time, happy stitching
