news to share and a gift received :)

Hello ladies!! How is everyone doing?
Many people on vacation this month? :) I'll be soon, working just until the end of this week :D

If you are a follower on my personal blog, you already now how my past few weeks have been ;) If not, let me share the news: I'm pregnant! :D Early pregnancy yet, which has given me a change of rhythm that I'm still adapting :p and that's not the only reason I haven't been around so much, I was also very busy unwrapping packages with lots of bday gifts :D heheh It was my birthday on July 27th :)

A couple of weeks ago, I've also received a surprise package :) Gislene, from Brazil, sent me sweet treats saying how happy she was with all her Pixie gifts!

Since her partner failed on the last winter exchange, some friends on the group gathered to send her Pixie parcels. I know it's not the same as receiving our exchange in time but I also think it's a wonderful joy to see friends gathering just for friendship, nothing in return :) So thank you, thanks to everyone who has send a Pixie parcel (not only to Gislene but in all our previous exchanges), thank you all for your kindness and friendship :)

So sorry ladies.
I'm way behind..
I had a wonderfull vacation in the meanwhile.
When I got home a sweet and beautifull package was at the neighbours from Australia.
They had really somethings from.. who you got mail from Australia..

And then she also crochet me a pincushion, with two lovely pins..

Easter pixie for Annette

Here is a close up on the needle book I made for Annette as a pixie parcel for the Easter exchange.

Annette is nicknamed 'Petite Anne' in French (when we add -ette to a word it means small / little)
It's a mouse I picked up form the Xmas scene All that glitters
I found it in the MS best of magazine, she is the mouse on the top of the sewing machine =)

Pixies to the rescue!!

Hello ladies!! Thank you for all the pixies who sent me emails already :)

I waited a couple of days to gather friends and split them between both our friends. Those who can send to both girls it's great!! But if sending 2 packages is too much for you, it's ok too :) Don't want to overload you!!

There's no need to make it a big parcel, send as you can, if you send a few supplies in a small package (threads, ribbons, buttons, threads or a bit of fabric for example) I'm sure it will make our friends smile :)
Those who have the chance to make a handmade, it will be lovely!!
All together will make a big gift!! :D

All you need is faith, trust and a little pixie dust!

That pleasant surprise, I really did not expect this.
I think I knew that in the past I lost my exchange gift.
As the group was put together a committee and I have rained very cute and unexpected gifts.
The first came on Monday from Holland. Thanks dear Olga, I commented that it saved my first needles and is being released with needles that you sent. Hearts will go to some clips of Friendship Day.

As for Valerie, WOW! how nice embroidery, stitch detailing and hidden, I have to imitate. You're an expert! In fact it is the favorite blogs I discovered while learning embroidery and embroidered with its part of me did this nice blog. The ribbons and buttons I have saved for future projects.

Thanks to the group by actually lift my spirits.

In each exchange learn wonders of you, by the readiness to resolve conflicts, the finesse to pull us ears when we were late, and his perseverance in maintaining unity.

Pixie parcels for me!

I'm really sorry that I haven't been around for awhile but, as some of you know, I've lost my dear Lucy, my dog, some days ago. She had a surgical operation on Sept.20th and after it seems she was getting well and I was very happy, I thought she was over the hump but suddenly in the morning of Octber 5th she got worse and she died... I miss her so much and as my dear Noni told me, I'm sure I'll meet her again on the Rainbow Bridge... Thanks to all of you that have left a comment for Lucy on my blog.
