Spring Exchange flashback

In all our exchanges I always ask everyone to send me an email letting me know that your parcel was posted and also to attach a photo to your message. The reason for wanting a photo is to make this post, a flashback with all parcels from our exchange - and this way no one forgets to actually take a picture before posting ;) ehheeh

Our Spring exchange took a little more time to close because, as everyone already knows, one member is MIA (missing in action). We never heard anything from Lorraine, she's still a part of the group and we hope to have some news from her in a near future. Meanwhile, a few ladies put on their pixies shoes and sent gifts to Noni, instead of waiting by her empty mailbox we wanted our friend to smile :) Thank you ladies! Thank you all for your kindness and friendship, stitchers are the best!! ;)

Today the postman touched my door, my exchange spring arrived after a long wait.

I want to thank Judith so sent me, everything is very nice, thank you very much.

Hi! I received a yellow big envelope directly from Mexico from the dear Olimpia and these are the beautiful items she sent to me!

Look at the towel, I love this spring bunny, so cute! Olimpia took for me a purple towel, she find out that it's my favourite colour!

Spring Exchange arrived

This morning I was pleasantly surprised when the postman took to me a package from Australia...Bigger the surprise when I saw what Noni prepared for me!!!

Everything is great, the pillow is fantastic and the basket with its eggs drived my two little sons crazy!!!

I'm very lucky to be paired with Noni!!!

Now, I hope than Nia can say the same thing of me ;-)

Spring Exchange Arrives - Thank You Valma!

Just wanted to send out a big thank you to my gift stitcher Valma. I didn't know where my partner was from, but when I saw mail from France in the box on Tuesday I knew it could only be my present from the Margaret Sherry exchange. What a lovely card to brighten my day!

Thank you Valma! I really appreciate the time you took to stitch this and make it for me. Valma included a beautifully written personal note in the card. I thought I'd have to recall the high school French I learned many, many years ago and, I have to admit, I was somewhat relieved to find Valma's note was in English! (French being our second language here in Canada, we all learn it for a few years of grade school and high school, but here on the West Coast it isn't used as much as in eastern Canada, so I haven't spoken or read French in quite some time!)

I love my card and the beautiful spring ribbon and other notions that were included with it. Thanks again!

Last Saturday, a package arrived in my mailbox from Portugal.  Dear Marcinha , that is so cute! Funny cat on a lavender sachet, and it smells nice.

Spring exchange update!

Let me just say that I've seen really pretty parcels! You did a great job ladies!! I was thinking on something that would be easily shipped on an envelope or a small package but.. I've seen parcels to fit a nice box! hehehe
Mine was smaller.. looks like I will have to make it up to my partner and learn to make it better next time :p Judith got mine:

I stitched three bunnies for myself and I picked my fave to stitch again for Judith :) I made an ornament and in my house I will have ornaments too, for my Easter tree! It was a small package but I hope it made my partner smile =)
