Secret Santa from Germany to France

Hello ladies

Sometimes things that we definitely can't explain happen...and this exchange is one of those things !
We really don't understand why it took sooooooo long for a parcel to leave Germany and reach France !
I thought my parcel was coming from the other side of the world...not from some hundreds kilometres...
Judith...you should have come & bring me yourself your gifts, you'd have arrived earlier =D
And you would have had a very huge hug from me to correctly thank you =D

Halloween Exchange - from Judith to Amber

Those who regularly read our Margaret Sherry Lovers blog know that Judith has been going through a rough time lately, so I'm deeply thankful and touched that she found the time to send me this wonderful package for our Halloween Exchange.

(Judith, I've tried sending you thank you messages through email, but both times I've received a Delivery Failure Notice saying that there was a problem with the server. Hopefully, you're still checking in with our blog from time to time and you'll see my thanks here.)

My hubby and I moved last March and I'm still in the process of decorating our walls with artwork, cross stitches, and other crafting projects, so the autumny "Willkommen" sign Judith sent will make a welcome addition to our front entryway! Plus, this is the first Archie Bear I've received, and one that I've been trying to find time to stitch for myself, so I was delighted to see that he was the design that Judith had stitched for me.

Once again, thank you Judith! I look forward to using the crafting notions you've sent and decorating my home with the lovely ornaments. I send you big hugs from Canada to Germany!

My MUM

This night my mum passed away. The best is that she mustn't suffer. Sleeping she passed.
I am deeply sad and I hope that i can return to normally sooner or later.

Sorry for my long absence

Hello , all my friends,
As you certainly has noticed I haven't been here for a long time.

We had and have a very bad time.. I t's  about my mother's health. Now after beeing in several hospitals she has been diagnized with liver and stomach cancer. The hospital marathon began at the end of June.

I think you know and can imagine how my feelings are. They can't do an operation because of her weakness and now she must do a chemical therapy with 84 years. I do hope all will be OK with her  At the same time my dad being dement had to stay in several seniors home. We switched beetween hospital and seniorhome.

I do hope that I can settle down after a while.
I'll try to fullfil my duties very soon. and I hope that I can be here more regular as before.
Stitching helps me better my mood.

I Haven't yet read all the further entries but I#ll do it from now.

From Judith to Angele

Hi,

I had fun opening the parcel Judith made for me!

She made a pretty cushion for me (i love little cushions) and guess who was on it?
It was me...haha...although she was blond instead of brown hair...i really liked the idea she had when she stitched this for me.
One of my daughters said....hey mum that is you on the cushion :-)

Thank you so very much for this beautiful parcel Judith....really love the cushion you made!!
Also loving the little book with patterns and the fabric!

My Easter and spring finishes

Today I show you my last finishings.
First: ONE PATTERN ---TWO VARIOUS FINISHING

And I have another idea of the same patterns- but havn't done yet.

Then I can show you my Easter stitching.I do liketrying to do the several finishings.And you've seen my cushion für Noni. This was my first attempt to do such a cushion.

It's always a pleasure to see how the characters become lifly when I do the BS. I do like these pattern as the brighten my day just through the stitching.I can't have a bad mood when doing them, can,I.

Friendship & Easter Exchange

Hello!  It is time to reveal what the postie delivered this week... Two adorable packages from the other side of the world.

The first package to arrive came from Rita in Portugal.

Rita sent me a lovely handmade card, some postcards with pictures of Portugal and some lovely embellishments   Rita sent me the card and pretties as a thank you for the exchange package I sent her as part of our MS Lovers Blog Winter Exchange.  Such a lovely surprise - Thank you Rita, I adore everything that you sent :o)

The second package was my Easter Exchange gift which came all the way from Judith in Germany.

The pillow is delightful.  I love the design - in fact I nearly stitched it myself for the Exchange but changed my mind at the last minute.  Also in the package is a book of cute Easter German cross stitch designs, a thread holder, a cute little bunny bag with some lovely embellishments and some choccies.  Aren't they all so lovely?  Thank you Judith, this is a lovely exchange gift.

As yet I still can't show you what I sent to Lentochka as part of the exchange as I haven't heard yet if it has arrived safely in Russia.  Hopefully we will hear soon of it's arrival and all will be revealed.

So now that makes two packages that I have sent that I am still waiting to show off to you - a pixie parcel to Eleana and my Easter Exchange to Lentochka.  Fingers crossed we will hear any day now that they have arrived and all will be revealed :o)

Thank you again Judith and Rita for my gorgeous packages - they really made my day :o), and thank you Nia for organising our Exchanges.  I love being a part of these exchanges - all the love and friendship that goes into the stitching and packages is wonderful.  I hope that the last couple of packages arrive soon and that everyone will be smiling.

As a friend of me needed  this square   for a quilt I stitched this some time ago. I had shown you before.. It was such a pleasure to do it and the little dogs made me laughing.

After A long time I have just found the time to show you all my cats.
It was such a pleasure to do these little cats and  stiching did my day in a hard time.

As this ornament had reached the new owner I can now show you. It is out of calendar 2004  I think.

Today I can show you another finish  of M. Sherry.
I found the pattern in the book: The Best of M.Sherry.I was so excited to see how it works after doing the backstitches.

This is for a friend of me who will make a pincushion of it for a little boy.. Now I am wondering how she will do this.

My first entry

This morning I could manage to see how I can write in the blogg.

Shame on me, that I couldn't do it before although beeing a member here for so long.

Now I will show you a square I did for a friend of me.
I changed the pattern a bit with German word belonging to KINDERGARTEN. (Music,Play,Children,Ball and Heart )
It will be a part of a little quilt.
