SAL Cool Cats - my first personal disaster.....

I am very sorry that I am so behind in this lovely project. I had a great idea - that's what I thought....
I wanted to make for myself a nice shopping bag. I bought a cotton bag and a piece of soluble (the one that should disappear in warm water) canvas.
And it was the worst idea of mine....
This soluble canvas didn't disappear, it actually in a way glued the threads and the result is completely horrible - what you can see below:

As you can see my project is ruined.... stitches are not even, and it just looks even worse in real :(.
Therefore I got very discouraged....
But after giving this matter a little bit of thinking I have realized that this is fun and fun it should stay :). So I have a new idea - this time it involves regular aida :) - and I will start stitching as soon as I will finish my "new baby born" project!
Just a little patience and hopefully this month I will manage to catch up with all you guys!!!!

Have a lovely day

November's Cat :)

Please meet Mr. November:

stiched on 32 ct Zweigart linen with DMC threads, design published by Heritage Stitchcraft in 2007

This Cat was my first project stitched on linen and I must admit I was a bit nervous. Also the project contains many "crazy" half stitches and I wasn't sure if I will manage to finish it.
Fortunatelly all my worries were unnecessary - I had great time stiching this little cat and I am sure I will enjoy as much making the rest 11 cats.

Few details:

I am planning to finish this and the remaining 11 Cats as pinnkeeps and enjoy this calendar for the next century or so :).

Have a lovely Friday all :)

There are some things....

I just have finished stitching this amazing project. I must admitt it touched my heart very deeply since the moment I saw it for the first time. I was just waiting for the proper opportunity - and here it is - a "good bye" gift to a very dear person:

Stitched on 14 ct DMC aida with printed hearts with Anchor threads - project from one of the Cross Stitcher's magazine

My first post :)

Just wanted to say "hi" to you all and express how happy I am that I have found this blog :).

My first M. Sherry's design:

Unfortunatelly I don't remember where this design was published - if I'll find it I'll update this :).
I made this on DMC aida 14 ct with pink hearts printed on using DMC threads as well. Gave it to a dear friend  -  a huge cat lovers :).
