Winter Exchange - Australia to Portugal

Hello!

I am so loving this exchange.... the pictures of what is being sent and received are wonderful.  Well done everyone..

Now I am here today to show you what I sent to Rita in Portugal.

To choose my design I went to the trusty old "Best of Margaret Sherry" bookazine.  After much deliberation and too-ing and fro-ing I finally decided to stitch one of the hedgehogs from the "Trimming the Tree" design.

Along with the hedgehog ornament I sent Rita a package made up of Christmas inspired scrapbooking bits and pieces.

The package has now safely arrived in Portugal.

Thank you Nia for organising another fantastic exchange.  I look forward to seeing more photos of all the other things that everyone has sent and received.

Winter Exchange

Hello......This is what my exchange partner sent to me.  I love it.  My Margaret Sherry ornament, 3 small straw ornaments, a handmade card and xmas ribbon.  Oh, and a small Merry Xmas on  a little clothespin.  It was kinda neat because a long time ago I was an exchange student in Germany and I spent it near Dortmund.  And that is where my partner, Judith lives.  The world gets smaller all the time.  :)

winter exchange!!

Hi everyone!! I'm trying to keep up and catch with everyone!
Here is an update on our exchange:

Exchange Parcels Sent: 20/22
Some bad news... Brenda is sick, she wrote to me a few weeks ago, even having her treatment she wanted to keep her commitment to her partner and send her exchange. Unfortunatelly, even having the best intention, she wasn't able to do it yet. I think we can all understand than when health fails, it's a good reason to forgive on our exchange and she will continue to be free to join any other time! I just hope she will get well, recover soon and feel better again to stitch with us :)
I volunteered to send an exchange parcel on Brenda's behalf but, since we're already so close to Christmas, I can only do it at the beginning of January but I will do it! Tracey was her partner, she will have to wait a little longer...

Coincidentally, Tracey is the second person who has not posted her parcel yet (or at least she hasn't told me anything so far). Last reply I got from Tracey, she had a new job, was a bit behind but working on her exchange.. I've written 2 or 3 times more but no reply yet.. waiting for news..
Gislene should receive Tracey's parcel in Brazil... I'm afraid that won't happen soon =(

If I don't get any answer from Tracey... I think I will jump one and instead of sending a parcel to Tracey (in Brenda's behalf) I will send to Gislene.

I love it all very very much!!

And i must admit i already ate the chocolate:-)
I'm sorry but i am a chocolate addict and i don't get everyday a piece of chocolate all the way from Russia so i had to taste it and it was good...hihi.

This was my first exchange and i'm so happy i was a part of this exchange!
Thanks Nia for organizing this...it's so great to make someone happy and also to receive a nice package that is made with so much love and attention from the other side of the world.

For my secret partnerCamille I prepared a small little squirrel, I took her from the alphabet and added a small New Year's ball in pads: )) ) From below the small ringing jingle is sewn!
We have a lot of snow and is cold! Real Russian winter.

Winter exchange from South Africa to Italy

First of all please excuse me for not giving you any news for so long but I had a hard time, now I hope all will be better!! I'm very happy to show you the wonderful parcel I received from CUCKI!

This cushion is so pretty and perfectly stitched, I love it!! And I love all you sent to me!! Every time I see your gift I think to you and to your country where I wish to come one day... THANK YOU SO MUCH, CUCKI!! Big big hugs for you!!

winter exchange update & question!!

If you follow my blog, you know I've been sick for a few days, sorry for my absence here. I'm catching up on our Winter Exchange, just finished reading all your posts and I've seen some adorable finishes =)

Exchange Parcels Sent: 20/22
I'm still waiting to know something from our 2 friends... I'm not sure if they are working on their parcels or if it's already on the way! I've sent email again, now waiting to receive their reply...

From all emails and blog posts, I know that 12 parcels have been delivered!
Amber, Denise, Camille, Eleana, Brenda, Verónica, Joey, Valérie, Anne, Olli, Cucki, Francesca and Rita, all received their exchange gifts :D
Correct? Am I missing anyone?? Please, let me know :)

We have more 4 more work days to receive mail... I think some parcels won't arrive on time =( I suggest we do the same as last year, everyone posts on Monday 24th, do you agree??? I think it would be nice for everyone to see their gifts in time for Santa's visit :)

Winter Exchange - Olimpia to Valma

I'm totally in love with this cute cat that she put on a book note cover (sewed by herself too)
This book will be my Xmas memories book for years =)
I'm going to treasure this for sure, and I already started writing in it !
