Spring exchange
What to stitch?
Whatever Margaret Sherry's design you'd like and finish as you wish too!
+ add a little something for your partner - one item of your choice: threads, ribbons, buttons, stickers, something that says 'Spring'! :) hhehehehe
Rules:
! Do not post photos before your partner receives your parcel, in your blog or here (let it be a surprise)
! When you post it on the mail, send an email to msherrylovers@gmail.com with a photo of all items you've sent
! Let me know when parcels have arrived so I can keep track of every parcel posted/received
! Make sure to say thanks to your partner too ;) As soon as you get a message from your partner, you can post pictures everywhere! :)

New stitchers are still joining the fun! The list is growing and growing and I love it :D heheheh And I also have the pleasure to say that I have finished my Spring cat :) Has anyone else started?

Everyone posted great opinions, thank you!! I'm working on the idea, soon I will post more about it ;)

Spring is an easy theme and I bet it will make everyone very happy! :)
Deadline to post would be March 21st (one month to think about it and stitch), double partners, make a postcard and add a little extra gift (something like a ribbon, pretty buttons, one item of your choice!)

From El Salvador to Russia with love.
In last days off I have received a remarkable card from Eleana. We with children delightfully examined an envelope and the marks which have arrived to us so from apart. It so is unforgettable, to realize that for thousand kilometers who that specially tried for you.

Two postcards were missing, finally Eleana received Svetlana's beautiful card :) and she also told me that Svetlana got hers! So it's official, our exchange is finally closed! :D

I had an idea for a Spring contest, I want to share it with you and ask your opinions! What about we have a stitching contest? Spring theme, we will pick a chart from some Cross Stitcher or The world of Cross Stitching (something current so everyone can buy it). Everyone would stitch the same chart and you could finish it as you'd like! In the end, we would post our pictures and open for votes here on the blog.
The winner would get a prize given by all the others participants. Something small, easy for everyone to send ;) For example, if we have 15 stitchers in the contest, the winner would receive a DMC thread from everyone else, it would be a prize of 14 threads :)
So, if we lose, we have to send a thread, if we win, we win as much as the number of partipants. What do you think about that? :)
For the prize, I thought it would be fun ribbons, it's also easy to send in a small envelope, right? And it would be great to get so many different ribbons from different countries! What would you like, DMC threads or ribbons?

2004 Calendar - Cow with flowers
Hi everyone!
I am one of the new Margaret Sherry lovers Nia was talking about into the previous post.
I'd like to share with you my Margaret Sherry works and to start here is a pot holder I stitched some years ago for a cross stitch swap.
This Margaret Sherry cow is part of "Margaret Sherry's 2004 Calendar" and was stitched on red 14 count Aida.
