I personally don´t like them. I try to avoid them all the time too. The thing that I do is adding beads to make the eyes instead of the french knots. Nia taught me that trick.:)<br /><br />Judith, about the pattern, it's from a old Cross Stitcher magazine. I don´t own it but you can find it on the internet.
